Yan Ling Dao 

The Yan Ling Dao marks a transition from the traditional straight blade Chinese Dao to a curved Dao.  The blade is mostly straight with a smooth curve towards the tip of the blade.  The Yan Ling Dao was popular in late Ming and early Qing dynasty.

  • Hickory is the most popular and versatile wood for contact training.

  • Hickory, Ash and Red Oak are included, other woods are in extra, you can ask for a free quote or some advices to the craftsman.

  • Note that Hickory and Ash have irregular and unpredictable color patterns.​​
